It can’t all be fun and games on ‘The Bachelor.’ Clare broke down in tears on the Feb. 3 episode after sneaking away with Juan Pablo in the middle of the night!
Juan Pablo Galavis took the lucky ladies to Da Nang, Vietnam and proved yet again to be full of romance. From getting a dress custom-made for one lucky lady (what girl doesn’t want a custom dress?) to taking another (un)lucky gal rappelling down into a cave named “Hell,” JP knows how to wow the ladies. However, he followed his gut into a 4 AM swim with Clare — but he later regretted the whole thing!
Juan Pablo’s Romantic 1-On-1 Dates
After the excited ladies arrive at Vietnam, Renee found out she landed the first one on one date of the night — and of course, we’re partial to her since she is also a mother, and took on the role as house mother. It must have been super hot as she was covered in sweat, but she was super impressed when he ran to grab her a fan while she was getting a custom-made dress fitted for a night out on the town.
The other one-on-one date went to Nikki, which of course pissed off many in the house who are not a fan of her and feel that she’s a different person when JP is around. We flashed back to his bridge-jumping date during this one as he took her rappelling down into a cave called “Hell,” before they dined for dinner. She was terrified, but put her life on the line for Juan Pablo!
Clare Breaks Down After Group Date
Since Nikki and Renee landed one-on-ones, that left Alli, Clare, Chelsie, Cassandra, Andi, Danielle, Kelly, Kat and Sharleen to head paddling down the river to a family home for dinner. Naturally, it was followed by a ride on water buffaloes!
Juan Pablo was impressed by Clare throughout the night and she landed the group date rose. Afterward she hadn’t gotten enough yet — she went and woke him in the middle of the night and asked him to go swimming in the ocean with her. It was super romantic, but it was a little much — she called it a “night of pure bliss,” leaving many to speculate they … did the deed.
After full on making out with Renee before the rose ceremony, JP realized he went too far with Clare, and that it wasn’t fair to the other girls — which showed a part of Juan Pablo we haven’t seen. It was sad that Clare felt embarrassed by it all, since she made a good point — to her, it’s just the two of them. When he said that his daughter wouldn’t want to see al of that, we don’t blame Clare for getting even more upset! We can’t lie — when she said she felt like he wanted to take the rose back, our hearts broke a little for her! Plus, she later pointed out that if he didn’t want to come out, he shouldn’t have. But, it can’t be easy for him to say no to all those beautiful women.
At the end of the night, Kelly, Alli and Danielle got sent home.
So what do you think HollywoodLifers — do you blame Clare for getting emotional?
