Well, that’s one way to get the word out. 9/11 ‘truther’ Matthew Mills interrupted Super Bowl MVP Malcolm Smith during his press conference after the game to call out the government. Find out how he got past the hundreds of security check-ins!
Malcolm Smith may have been named Most Valuable Player after Super Bowl XLVIII, but the sneakiest man of the day was Matthew Mills, an independent journalist who snuck into the press conference after the game and interrupted Malcolm to yell “Investigate 9/11!” Watch the video here!
Malcolm Smith Interrupted During MVP Press Conference
Midway through the press conference, a man later identified as Matthew Mills, 30, of Brooklyn, NY, grabbed the mic out from Malcolm and yelled, “Investigate 9/11. 9/11 was perpetrated by people in our own government.”
While he was yelling, a disheveled (and understandably so) Malcolm looked to his right for help. Miami Dolphins spokesman Harvey Greene was close by since he was running the press conference, and he jumped in and pushed the man out of the way.
The incident, which lasted maybe three or four seconds definitely shocked Malcolm.
“Is everyone alright?” he asked reporters afterward before cracking a joke. “Let’s check his press pass!”
Matthew Mills Arrested, Explains ‘Simple’ Sneak In
New Jersey State Police ID’d the man and arrested him for criminal trespassing. So, how exactly did he sneak in to the biggest sporting event of the year?
He explained that he got on a bus at the Secaucus Junction and wore an old press credential around his neck — and it apparently didn’t get checked.
“I just said I was running late for work and I had to get in there. It was that simple,” the independent journalist told NJ.com. “I didn’t think that I’d get that far. I just kept getting closer and closer. Once I got past the final gate and into the stadium, I was dumbfounded.”
After the game, he entered a tent with players and coaches after the game and went for it.
“I just saw my opportunity to get my word out there and I took it,” he told he site.
Matthew was a former intern for WeAreChange. On WeAreChange’s Connecticut site, they are described as “a citizens based grassroots peace and social justice movement working to reveal the truth behind the events of September 11th, as well as other suspected false flag attacks that have taken place around the world.”
