Oh man, Justin, seriously!? When the troubled star touched down in New Jersey for Super Bowl weekend on Jan. 31, his private jet was held by police because of an alleged suspicious smell was emanating from the plane.
Wherever Justin Bieber goes, trouble finds him. The singer — who is currently the center of three criminal investigations — has found himself in the heart of yet another incident on Jan. 31 after his private jet was detained by authorities when they suspected that marijuana may have been on board, according to TMZ.
Justin Bieber: Jet Detained On The Way To Super Bowl
It didn’t take long for Justin’s Super Bowl weekend to go awry. New Jersey authorities held him for questioning on Jan. 31 when his private jet landed at Teterboro Airport, and police reportedly noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from the plane.
Law enforcement is reportedly holding the plane because they think there might be drugs on it, TMZ reports. They are allegedly in the process of searching the plane and the passengers — so far reportedly nothing has been found.
HollywoodLife.com has reached out to Justin’s reps.
Justin chartered the jet from Canada to fly to the New York City area for Super Bowl XLVIII on Feb. 2. He is reportedly accompanied by a group of friends, as well as his dad Jeremy Bieber.
Justin Bieber’s Troubles With The Law
This is definitely the last thing Justin needs after the three weeks he’s had. After having his house raided by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department in relation to his egg-throwing scandal, Justin then got arrested in Miami on Jan. 23 for DUI and drag racing.
But the trouble didn’t end there. Five days later, the Biebs was charged with assault from an incident that occurred with a limo driver in Toronto on Dec. 30.
Hopefully Justin is just a hot target right now — police may just be giving him a hard time because of his highly publicized issues. Because there’s no doubt that Justin has enough on his plate as it is.
