Coca Cola Super Bowl Commercial: Adorable Young Football Player Scores Touchdown
In Coke’s adorable Super Bowl commercial, Adrian is stuck on the bench. He finally gets called into the game, where he is significantly smaller than his fellow players. A teammate calls the play then roughly grabs Adrian’s helmet telling him not to “mess this up again.”
The game starts and all the sudden, Adrian finds himself with the ball and a completely open path to the end zone. “Run all the way Adrian!” his teammates call. And he does!
He just runs a little further. He gets to the end zone and the fans start to cheer, but get confused when Adrian keeps on running. He ends up getting all the way to the Green Bay stadium where he makes the touchdown! He starts to celebrate, and a coach offers him a Coca Cola. Ahh!
Coca Cola’s Past Super Bowl Commercials
The Coca Cola “Going All The Way” commercial is just the most recent of many of the brand’s Super Bowl advertising. One of the most famous commercial was known as “Mean Joe Greene” in 1979. The ad featured “Mean” Joe Greene, a famous football player for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and a young male fan. The fan tells a grumpy Joe that he thinks he’s the best, and offers him a Coke. Joe accepts and instantly becomes nicer, handing his jersey to the boy as a souvenir.
