Former WWE star Matt Hardy was arrested at a motel in Virginia on Jan. 1 after he allegedly got into a physical fight with his wife, Reby Sky, who is also a wrestler.

Both Matt Hardy and his wife, Reby Sky, were arrested and charged with assault and battery after an employee at the Hampton Inn they were staying at called 911 to report their alleged brawl. Both Matt and Reby got restraining orders against each other after the incident, according to a new report.

It looks like Matt and Reby, 27, really did a number on each other. They both had scratch marks and cuts all over their faces in their mug shots, and Reby, whose real name is Rebecca Hardy, appeared to have a fat lip and a black eye as well. So scary!

Police responded to a 911 call about Matt and Reby’s altercation at the Hampton Inn in Emporia, Va. at around 5:45 a.m. on Jan. 1, law enforcement officials tell TMZ Sports.

During the 911 call, a hotel employee can be heard saying, “A guest just came down here and said somebody’s beating the hell out of his wife a girl or something.”

When police arrived to the scene, they arrested both Matt and Reby. The two were later released on $3,500 bail.

Matt and Reby got restraining orders against each other, according to TMZ, but they seem to have reconciled since then, as they’ve both posted photos of each other following the arrests.
