Budweiser’s Super Bowl Commercial: A Puppy & A Horse Are In Love

Wed, January 29, 2014 1:39pm EDT by 12 Comments

Never mind what their children would look like, OK? Just watch this beautiful inter-species love story and prepare to leak water from your eyes.

The following is a test to find out whether or not you’re completely dead inside: Budweiser has unveiled its Super Bowl XLVIII commercial, and it might be the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen. In a nutshell, it tells the tale of a puppy who repeatedly escapes from its owner in order to spend time with a big (sexy?) clydesdale at a nearby farm.

Try as they might, the owners can’t seem to keep the puppy from its beloved, and with a little assistance from the horse’s inner circle, the animals are forever united.

HollywoodLifers, on a scale from one to “holy crap,” how much do you love this masterpiece of a commercial? Drop a comment with your review of the ad below!

Very adorable! But really people? In love? There’s a Best Buds hashtag at the end.

I think this is an AWESOME commercial! But I really don’t think they are ” in love”, they are BFF’s. Why do people try to make it something more when it is not?

It looks like they’re friends, not in love.
HWL is making too much out of the commercial.
BFF’s is more like it.

@Damn….always someone who wants to put a damper on something great. This is the commercial to beat. I could watch it every day and it would make me feel good every time. You must be one of those people that likes misery. So sad.

@Trudy, what is so bleeping miserable about them being BFF’s?
You must be one of those people that, just like I said is making more out of it then what it is.
Friends can love each other and want to be together all the time without it meaning they are some how romantically involved.
They’re not human!
A horse and a puppy?
I’ve seen comments on here saying they wonder what their babies will look like!
Really!?
I still love the commercial. I just look at it as they are BFF’s not somehow romantically involved.
