Justin needs an immediate intervention so he can get help with his alleged drug use before he drastically harms himself or even ends up killing himself, multiple addiction experts tell HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
Justin Bieber is playing a dangerous game with his life and he is in serious need of an intervention before it’s too late. “Getting into trouble over and over again is his way of saying, ‘Help, I need help,'” an addiction expert tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
Justin Bieber Intervention — Expert Says He Needs One Right Now
Justin’s arrest should have been a wake-up call for him, but unfortunately it seems like he’s still not taking his troubles seriously.
The 19-year-old singer was arrested on Jan. 23 for suspicion of DUI. At the time of his arrest, Justin, who had a smirk on his face when police booked him, was under the influence of alcohol, marijuana and the prescription drug Xanax.
“Justin Bieber is a very sick, deeply unhappy boy who is crying out for help,” addiction expert Steven Ornstein tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Getting into trouble over and over again is his way of saying, ‘Help, I need help!’ What he needs is an intervention as soon as possible.”
Steven adds that while Justin may look like he’s having fun, he’s really struggling.
“Him smiling and posing after getting out of jail is yet another indication of him hiding under this superstar persona,” Steven says. “Deep down he’s crumbling inside. Call him arrogant, a brat — this is what happens when a drug addict is acting out and calling out for help.
“In addition to being ill-prepared for how to handle fame, he has a drug addiction problem. The two combined are a recipe for a disaster,” Steven adds.
Is Justin Bieber’s Family Staging An Intervention?
On the weekend of Jan. 25, Justin, along with his mom, Pattie Mallette, manager Scooter Braun and friend Usher, were all in Panama, where it’s likely they were trying to stage an intervention and talk some sense into the superstar.
“It’s a good idea for Justin’s family and friends to be there to show support and solidarity that they’re standing behind him in his effort to stop using,” 30-Second Therapist Dr. Gilda Carle told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Interventions are tough with a lot of emotion and often drama.
Additionally, it’s important to find out the source of his sadness.
“Addiction and bad judgement are two different issues,” Dr. Albert Ridlovski, MD told us exclusively. “Addiction includes bad judgement, bad judgement does not include addiction. Both can lead to a bad end for themselves or others. Intervention depends on whether you are an addict or had bad judgement. That is when it is important to see an Addiction Doctor. It is important to be diagnosed by an Addiction Doctor.”
