Great job,but it was absurd to play modern rock music in a period piece dated 1892.Totally out of place, distracting and very annoying.

Personally, I love the music (except at the party). Maybe a few years young, but it was awesome for the graveyard scene. Watched it twice just for that.

I watched this movie twice because of the music. I LOVED IT. It brought this little piece of history into the 21st century. Although the Elizabeth Montgomery version seemed to be a more believable script,

Do you know who did the music? Particularly the song when she went to the party her father told her not to go to? The credits don’t mention it and I can’t find it online anywhere!

whew thank you…I could not agree more! The music was so “not” appropriate and made the whole thing a joke.

Stink-a-roo! To see a real interpretation of this story, stick with the 1975 “Legend of Lizzie Borden.” Phenomenally superior to this drivel.

This film is so bad that you root for the credits to begin soon after the film does – you also root for the ax to perhaps go after the screenwriter and especially the music director. The music is “modern bizarre” for a 100 plus old murder mystery and takes you away from the films focus and era. The same scenes of the axing of the stepmother replay ad-nauseum as if they didnt have enough footage to complete this project. The makeup for the murder victims is wrong (victim #1 was plumb and short not tall and thin)…(victim#2 had a white amish beard not a goatee) and multiple scenes could’ve been added but instead you see slow-motion blood spatter. Very disappointing
