Jon Gosselin revealed on the newest episode of ‘Couples Therapy’ that he and ex-wife Kate Gosselin pair had ‘so many kids’ they didn’t ‘have time’ to work on their marriage: but the stress never caused him to cheat on Kate.
Jon Gosselin revealed a major shocker in his therapy session with girlfriend Liz Jannetta on Couples Therapy: the pair admitted that they both cheated on each other during their relationship, but Jon revealed that he had never cheated on his ex-wife Kate Gosselin.
Jon Gosselin On ‘Couples Therapy': Dad Reveals He Never Cheated On Kate Gosselin
Jon, 36, opened up about the trust issues he and his current girlfriend, Liz, have about one another, and they all stem from the fact both parties admitted to cheating on one another during their relationship. To explain himself in a therapy session for the show, Jon revealed that he had never cheated during his marriage to his ex, Kate Gosselin.
“My marriage was very non-affectionate,” Jon explained on the show. “It was just kind of like 10 years of a business transaction. So many kids, it was just like ‘we don’t have time to work on our marriage!’”
While Jon admitted to their relationship being strained, he revealed that he never cheated on Kate, despite always feeling an “emptiness” in their relationship.
“The biggest misconception is that the reason we got a divorce was that I cheated on my wife… I didn’t,” he explained. He also said that the decision to divorce was mutual, and that’s when he started going out at all hours of the night without caring what Kate would say about it all. He opened up about always feeling like he was completing chores and tasks so that Kate would love him, which was an unfair situation all around.
‘Couples Therapy’ Cast Supports Jon Gosselin
Liz seemed to have great difficulty listening to her guy open up about his past relationship, but the show’s other cast mates, including Taylor Armstrong and Farrah Abraham couldn’t hold back sassy faces that showed they were mortified by the treatment Jon was describing. Jon’s openness came across as truly genuine, so we hope that the other couples got some inspiration about how to share their stories without causing drama.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Are you surprised that Jon opened up about fidelity?
