Cate Blanchett had the perfect date to the Jan. 16 Critics Choice Awards, her son Roman! Cate Blanchett Critics Choice Awards: Son Roman Upton Is Adorable Date
Roman Upton was a perfect gentleman as he accompanied his beautiful mother to the Critics Choice Awards. He chatted with the other guests at their table, and seemed to be getting particularly close to Sandra Bullock. When it was announced that his mom had won the award in her category, Best Actress, she hugged him while he clapped excitedly for her.
“This is up there!” Cate told HollywoodLife.com when asked what the best moment of her life has been so far. “This is a pretty good one. This has been a pretty great day!”
Her family milestones were also among her greatest accomplishments. “I would also say the birth of my children. Not the actual pushing, but when they popped out was amazing!” she explained.
Cate has two other sons with her husband Andrew Upton: Dashiell John, 12, and Ignatius Martin, 5. Hopefully we will get to see more of her adorable boys throughout awards season!
