Damon Salvatore himself brought his A-game to the annual trophy fest, presented live Jan. 16 on The CW.
And the award for Best Presenter goes to… Ian Somerhalder! The star of The Vampire Diaries was on hand Jan. 16 to present the award for Best Foreign Language Film during the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, and his delivery was just as smolder-y as we hoped.
Dressed to the nines, Ian took to the stage like he was sauntering through the Salvatore Mansion — although it’s possible we’re just suffering massive TVD withdrawal. Unfortunately, Ian didn’t speak any sexy foreign tongues while presenting, but he still looked incredible up there.
Ian didn’t even get to interact with anyone besides his co-presenter Isaiah Washington, because no one from Blue Is the Warmest Color was present to accept the award, but hey, we’re not going to complain about being able to see Ian, are we?
Ian Somerhalder & Nina Dobrev Steal The Show At People’s Choice Awards
As much as we loved seeing Ian at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, his appearance paled in comparison to what he did last week at the PCAs! Not only did he and Nina Dobrev win the award for Favorite On-Screen Chemistry, but they even poked fun at their roller coaster of a relationship during their speech.
“It’s a good thing it’s not awkward,” Nina joked about having to pretend to be into Ian on-screen, before Ian planted a big fat kiss on her cheek.
You’ve got to love Ian and Nina; few stars would have the nerve to stand in front of millions of Americans and speak candidly about their exes.
HollywoodLifers, was Ian your favorite presenter at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards? Drop a comment with your thoughts on the night’s big show.
