Bruce and Kris — how could you have broken the sad news that your marriage was over, with the E! cameras rolling? That wasn’t fair to your stunned children.
Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner — does your need to get high Keeping Up with the Kardashians ratings by announcing your split on TV, come before the emotional needs of your children? It sure seems that way now that you’ve released the preview clip of the premiere episode of KUWTK.
Bruce & Kris Jenner: You Were Wrong To Break The Split News To Your Kids On ‘KUWTK’
In the new video clip, we watch while you two gather your apprehensive kids for a family meeting and then break the stunning news that you’ve decided to continue living apart.

This is clearly news that they’ve been dreading, since you two have been living in separate homes, supposedly just for summer convenience, for months. But no children want their parents to split up, even if they are teenage children or adults. All children want their families to stay together, and yours was clearly no exception.
So even if Kim Kardashian, Rob Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian had guessed that there was more to your summer separation than convenience for golf or work, they probably were hoping against hope that you two would work out your differences. That’s why the moment of your marital breakup announcement was so emotional.
Bruce & Kris — Was Announcing The Split On ‘KUWTK’ Really Worth It?
Your kids were having their hopes dashed. And instead of experiencing their sadness in private, they had to share a very personal moment with an E! camera crew and now, with the world.
Bruce and Kris, was this really the right thing to do?
Do your children (if not you) have no right to any privacy? Does every aspect of your personal relationships have to be exposed to your TV viewers?
I appreciate that you’ve built a family fortune on being candid about every aspect of the Kardashian life, but sometimes dollars have to be sacrificed for the sake of your most precious possessions — your children. Bruce and Kris, even if you were completely comfortable with your decision to part ways, you shouldn’t have just assumed that your children would be fine about learning that their family was disintegrating while filming TV.
I can only hope that what KUWTK viewers will see in this upcoming Sunday’s episode is actually a reenactment of your breakup bombshell.
I really hope that you gave the actual first news to your family in private and that this was a skillful recreation of a sad and sensitive moment.
Do you agree, HollywoodLifers? Should Kris and Bruce Jenner have made their marriage split announcement to their children in private? Let me know.
