The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department raided Justin’s house on Jan. 14, and then they gave a press conference to talk all about it. They claim they were only there to try to get more information for their egging investigation and they had a special message for Justin.
Justin Bieber had a rough morning when police arrived at his LA home with a search warrant, as part of an egging investigation, that he was allegedly involved. The singer is being accused of vandalizing his next door neighbor’s house with eggs. The police obtained a search warrant and descended upon his mansion in the early hours of Jan. 14 and kept him in the garage while they went through his house. In a press conference they revealed exactly what happened and why they took it so seriously.
Police Reveal Why They Raided Justin Bieber’s House
The police said that Justin was “cooperative,” when they arrived to his house with 11 police officers. LASD’s Detective Dave Thompson said that they brought several officers because they weren’t sure what or who they would encounter. Sure enough, several of Justin’s friends had slept over and were present for the raid.
The police said that they were there not only to look for eggs but for surveillance video that would connect Justin to the crime.
“He has not been arrested or exonerated,” Detective Dave Thompson said in the press conference. “Justin didn’t answer any questions while we were there, he will do that through his attorney. We hope [Justin], understanding the gravity of this … will change his behavior.”
The police also confirmed that Lil Za was arrested, after they found him in possession of cocaine.
“The cocaine was in plain view when the police were looking for other evidence,” Detective Thompson said.
Harry Styles Disses Justin Bieber?
In the middle of all of this, Harry Styles tweeted a picture of two plates of eggs with the caption: “Egg off.”
Perhaps it was just a coincidence or maybe he really was making fun of Justin’s legal troubles?
HollywoodLifers, do you think the police are overreacting?
