Hurry up, Will, you’re gonna miss it! On Jan. 9, Kate’s 32nd birthday, the Prince was caught all dressed down trying to catch a train back to Kensington Palace for his wife’s big day.
With Prince William‘s schedule jam-packed because of his 10-week course at Cambridge University, the Duke really had to scramble on Jan. 9 to make it home in time to celebrate Kate Middleton‘s birthday!
Prince William Hurries Home For Kate Middleton’s Birthday
In the latest entry in the “Will and Kate Are Just Like Us” saga, William was spotted looking like any other college student — in a winter coat, khakis, a baseball cap, and a backpack — hustling from the university to get to the train station in Cambridge. And he looked a little hurried, in pics posted on Mail Online.
That’s because it was Jan. 9, or, Kate’s 32nd birthday. William was away from his wife during the day, toiling away in his agricultural management studies, but he looked determined to make the most of his night.
Thankfully, a slick Range Rover picked William up to drive him the one mile from Cambridge University to the train station, and when he arrived at Kings Cross in London, another car was ready to transport him to his family home at Kensington Palace, where we’re sure a lavish celebration was in order for Kate’s birthday.
Kate Middleton’s 32nd Birthday
The other man in Kate’s life filled in for the prince on her 32nd birthday, along with a few other family members. Kate spent the day with her mother, Carole Middleton, her sister Pippa, and of course her baby, Prince George. The girls went on a shopping spree in London, according to E!, and a royal aide told The Telegraph that “it was all very low key.”
Sounds perfect. And we’re sure the day got even better when Prince William arrived home from Cambridge!
