Lea Michele looks so stunning in her new music video! While the beginning of the video is dark, she breaks out of the darkness, literally — and trades in her edgy black two-piece outfit for two sexy bright white dresses.
In Lea Michele‘s first ever music video for “Cannonball,” she wears two completely gorgeous outfits. The lyrics of the song are completely emotional about her moving forward after the death of Cory Monteith — and her outfits go right along with those emotions — which look do you like better? Vote!
Lea Michele’s ‘Cannonball’ Dresses
Lea’s first look is a black skinny strap crop-top tank by Costume National paired with a high-waisted flowy black skirt by Chloe. It goes really perfectly with the darkness of the room, and with her smoky makeup. Her skin looks flawless and tan, and she’s rocking a dark black eyeliner — it really is the perfect representation of the first part of the song.
She sings: “I was scared to death I was losing my mind/I couldn’t close my eyes I was pacing all night/I think I found the light out the end of the tunnel/I couldn’t find the truth I was going under.”
During the positive parts of the song, written by Sia, Lea stuns in two sexier, more uplifting looks — a short tight white dress by BCBG and another white dress with a v-neck netted panel in the front by Camilla and Marc. She sings “But I won’t hide inside/I gotta get out, gotta get out/Lonely inside and light the fuse/Light it now, light it now, light it now/And now I will start living today/Today, today I close the door/I got this new beginning and I will fly/I’ll fly like a cannonball.”
Her hair is tousled and messy as well in the darker parts of the video. It’s later smooth and straight — both were styled by Mark Townsend, and look absolutely gorgeous!
So HollywoodLifers, what do you think of the two looks that Lea rocked in the video? Which one do you like better? Let us know!
