Looks like Emma has some new love brewing in her cauldron. Though her breakup from Will Adamowicz was just revealed on Jan. 6, it appears that Emma already has a new guy in her life!
While we were stupefied by the news that Emma Watson was single again, it seems like our girl has been busy moving on. The actress was just spotted vacationing on Jan. 6 with a new beau, Oxford rugby player Matt Janney.
Emma Watson Finds New Love
The Harry Potter star was seen canoodling with Oxford heartthrob and rugby player Matt Janney on Jan. 6. It seems as though our Hermione has found new love in the rugby stud — the two were spotted in the Caribbean, unable to stop “giggling and smiling the whole time,” an onlooker told E! News.
“He was being a gentleman the whole time,” the onlooker said. “He is clearly very much into her,” the onlooker continued.
Oddly enough, news of the budding romance broke just as we were learning that Emma and longtime ex-boyfriend Will Adamowicz split up over the summer.
Emma Watson Met New Beau At Oxford
Emma and Matt allegedly met when he played in a varsity game against Cambridge on Dec 12. Emma attended the “post-match victory party” which celebrated Oxford’s 33-15 win over Cambridge, reports E! News.
But of course, if you’re going to date Emma, you have to have a pretty impressive résumé — and Matt makes the cut. He is reportedly now studying French and Russian at Oxford’s Oriel College, he is a former intern of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, a law firm in Paris, and he is an alumnus of King’s College School located in Wimbledon.
We’re glad Emma has found new love, and it’s clear that Matt is a pretty good catch.
