Although many seem to think her glamorous, closeup shot is controversial, the actress herself couldn’t be happier with the way the shoot came out!

Leave it to Mindy Kaling to bring some humor to any situation. The 34-year-old actress, who was chosen as one of the four cover girls of ELLE‘s annual ‘Women In TV’ issue, looks gorgeous in a black and white shot — however, the internet seemed to explode when the cover was released, all because Mindy was the only star who wasn’t featured in a full body shot. While some may think it had to do with Mindy’s size, the star herself couldn’t be happier with the cover — and she had a funny suggestion for those who want to get a better look at her bod!

Mindy Kaling ‘Elle’ Cover — Star Responds To Controversial February 2014 Issue:

Mindy tweeted out her response to all the speculation on Jan. 7, putting any idea that the star herself was unhappy with the result of the shoot to rest. Many raised the question that Mindy’s shot was more closeup because she isn’t as thin as the other cover girls, (which included Allison Williams, Amy Poehler, and Zooey Deschanel), but in all reality the actress might have even had a say and chose the stunning shot for the cover!

Controversial Magazine Covers:

This isn’t the first time an actress has fought back over an Elle cover. In fact, just mere months ago Melissa McCarthy admitted she herself actually chose the coat that seemed to stir up so much drama on the cover of the magazine’s November 2013 issue.

We think it’s amazing that Mindy weighed in on the cover — and we love it just as much as she does! After all, sometimes a magazine cover is just a magazine cover. Do you agree? Do you think people are reading too much into the issue? VOTE.

I drop a comment when I like a article on a site or if I have something to
contribute to the conversation. Usually it is triggered by the sincerness displayed in the post
I read. And after this post Mindy Kaling on Elle Cover – Actress Defends Controversial Magazine Cover – Hollywood Life.
I was actually excited enough to drop a comment :) I do have 2 questions for you if you do not
mind. Is it only me or does it seem like some of the responses come across as if they are written by brain dead individuals?
:-P And, if you are posting at other social sites,
I’d like to keep up with anything fresh you have to post.
Would you make a list all of all your public pages like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?
