If I was one of the 26 other women on ‘The Bachelor’ — especially one of the nine he sent home — I would have been livid watching the season premiere on Jan. 6, and Juan Pablo should be too. Sharleen does not deserve to be there!
When Juan Pablo gave the first impression rose to Sharleen, an opera singer from Ottawa, Canada, the world was shocked. However, what shocked (and irritated) me was that she couldn’t have cared less — it’s time for her to go.
Juan Pablo: Send Sharleen Home
Not only did nine women get sent home on night one of The Bachelor, Sharleen, 29, was given the first impression rose and didn’t even really care!
Like I said during the recap, I compliment her for her honesty — when he gave her the rose, she didn’t seem excited (or even aware of what was going on) and then told the cameras that she didn’t feel that “insta-chemistry” that she thought she was supposed to, saying there was so much build up and she expected to feel more.
I’m not saying she should be all “I’m in love” just yet — that’s just too much (Sorry, Amy J.). Women who come on and within 15 minutes claim they are in love or in Amy’s situation, that they could really see a future with him, is just ridiculous.
But at least show some interest!
Sharleen Will Only Hurt Juan Pablo
As I already have it on good authority who is going to win (you can find that out here), I’m not sure who else will last — but if Sharleen does, there’s a good chance that sweet Juan Pablo will get hurt by her.
We all know that men are attracted to women who don’t seem extremely excited about them. However, she did at first — she was the one who rushed over to give him a glass of champagne when he walked in the door.
So then she went from interested to not-so-much in about ten minutes? It just seems like a game — which at the end of the day The Bachelor is — but why is she playing it? And why is Juan Pablo falling for it?
Sure she’s stunning and comes off much more elegant and sophisticated than the other ladies. She even wore a much different, more conservative dress. It makes sense why he likes her, I get it.
However, I’m going to say it now. He’s going to get hurt if he keeps her around. So, she needs to fess up that she’s just not that into him or he needs to send her packing.
Do you agree, HollywoodLifers? Let me know what you think!
