‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star has been granted a permanent restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, who she claims beat her in a Houston hotel room. Camille is ‘incredibly thankful and relieved’ to have some protection, a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
Camille Grammer doesn’t have to live in fear anymore. The 45-year-old went before a judge and was granted a temporary restraining order against Dimitri Charalambopoulos, but now the judge has made it a three-year restraining order.
Camille Grammer Granted Three-Year Restraining Order
Camille was recovering in a Houston, Tex., hotel room, after having a hysterectomy on Oct. 11. when she claims Dimitri brutally attacked her.
Now the judge has extended the restraining order, according to People magazine, which keeps Dimitri from contacting her or coming within 100 yards of she and her children, Mason, 12, and Jude, 9.
“She’s incredibly thankful and relieved that she’s able to get some protection,” a friend of Camille’s tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “It’s allowing her to live more comfortably and of course, focus on healing now that her cancer is in remission. It’s a wonderful feeling and she’s thankful and off to embarking on an incredible New Year.”
Camille Claims She Was Beaten In Texas Hotel Room
Camille claims that around 1:30 A.M, on the night of the attack, Dimitri was receiving texts from another woman, and the two got into a fight. That’s when she claims Dimitri grabbed her by the hair and repeatedly slammed her head into the headboard of the hotel bed. She then claims he smashed her phone so that she couldn’t call police.
The reality star claims that Dimitri tried to keep her from breathing and that he kept telling her that he was going to “smash” her head in. She said in the court filings that she believed he would kill her.
This all sounds terrifying and we’re so glad it’s over for Camille!
