In the wake of Scott suddenly losing his father on Jan. 3, it’s comforting to see Kourtney by his side.
We can’t imagine what Scott Disick must be going through right now. His father, Jeffrey Disick, recently died at just 63 years old, following his wife, Bonnie Disick, who passed three months earlier after a long illness. This is a difficult time for Scott, but thankfully, he has Kourtney Kardashian to lean on for emotional support.
Scott Disick Seen Out For First Time Since The Death Of His Father, Jeffrey Disick
Scott, an only child, was reported by E! News to be “devastated” and “beside himself” over his parents’ death. We can’t imagine what he must be going through; even having a large extended family in the Kardashians can’t possibly make up for experiencing these huge losses in such a short period of time.
While Scott has yet to make any sort of statement via social media or elsewhere, we’re glad to see that he seems to be coping well with Kourtney alongside him. After all, they need to stay strong for their two young children, Mason, 4, and Penelope, 1.
Scott Disick On His Father: ‘[He] Suffers From Diabetes And Needs A Heart Replacement’
A source told HollywoodLife.com exclusively that as soon as Scott heard the news, he booked a flight to NYC from Park City, Utah, where he and Kourtney were on a ski trip with the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan. Such a tragic reason to cut short a family holiday!
In an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Scott opened up to Kourtney about his fear of being around people who are dying.
He told her, “You know I’m not good about talking about death, I don’t know that I want to be around someone who is dying.” This was in reference to a cancer-stricken woman whose wish was to meet Scott. He was happy to have met her, though, and told the cameras that, “seeing Josie confront her illness really made me think about my dad – who suffers from diabetes and needs a heart replacement – I really don’t talk about it because its so hard for me.” Hearing this is pretty heartbreaking, knowing that his father has now passed.
Our thoughts go out to Scott and his family during this difficult time.
