It’s Vegas, b***h! Britney officially took over the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas on Dec. 27 for her two-year residency, and she did not disappoint. Between the sexy costumes, the fierce performances, and a few little odd moments, it was a night worth reliving.
Britney Spears is back, and now she’s taking over Las Vegas. Her “Piece of Me” residency began in Las Vegas on Dec. 27 and the wild concert had everyone — even stars like Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus — bowing down to the “Till the World Ends” singer. Here are the moments we loved the most.
Britney Spears: The 5 Best Moments From ‘Piece Of Me’
1. You Better Work, B***h
For her latest hit, Britney broke out a smoldering performance to kick off the set. Emerging from a steel cage, Britney looked incredible in a sparkly, sheer outfit reminiscent of the one she wore for her iconic performance at the 2000 MTV VMAs. Her scintillating dance moves were just the cherry on top.
2. The Wigs!
Good things always happen when Britney plays different characters (see: the music video for “Toxic”), so we loved seeing her bust out some sexy wigs during the concert. Our favorite was the dark bob she rocked along with a sexy goth-looking outfit for “Do Somethin.'”
3. Mario Lopez On A Leash? Okay!
For the naughty song, “Freakshow,” Britney pulled out all the stops. In a black onesie and fishnet stockings, Britney plucked Mario Lopez out of the audience, dressed him up in bondage gear — even a mask — and walked him around the stage like a bawse. Um, amazing.
4. The Famous Fans
As Britney rocked it, it was awesome to see a group of next-gen pop stars — Selena, Miley, Katy Perry, and Sia — totally fan-girl out. It’s obvious that Brit paved the way for all of them, so we loved watching them pay their respects to the one and only, Britney Spears.
5. Till The World Ends
Britney started her show off with a bang, but she closed it out on a completely different level. Britney looked so into the 2011 monster hit, jumping up and down and energetically dancing. And featuring a cool remix that incorporated “Work B***h,” the song really helped the performance come full circle.
What a night. So what did you think, HollywoodLifers? Are you booking tickets to Las Vegas right now? Let us know!
