Justin Bieber: Take A Break From Music, But Don’t Retire

When Justin announced that he was officially retiring on Dec. 24, I’ve got to say — I was shocked. It’s a smart idea for Justin to take a break for a bit, but retiring altogether would be a big mistake.

Justin Bieber broke many hearts when he took to Twitter to announce that he was officially retiring. However, before claiming that Christmas is ruined, I’m thinking that it may not be the actual end for the 19-year-old. Could he be using this opportunity to promote his new movie, Believe?

Justin Bieber Retiring — Why He Should Just Take A Break

After announcing his retirement on Twitter, he followed up the news with a little bit of reasoning:

I’ve got to say, Justin has been in the media for misbehaving a great deal during 2013 — he even made our naughty list! However, that doesn’t mean he should call it quits for good. He needs to focus on what he got famous for and try to take some times away from the cameras.

His millions of fans will be heartbroken, and he’s worked so hard to get to where he is today. At only 19, he has a great career ahead of him. He just released all of Journals, and it’s already getting great feedback.

As he gets older, his voice is just going to get better. Plus, the fans are growing with him and always have — they look up to him as someone they can relate to. Not to mention, the girls love him!

Speaking of, Selena Gomez recently dropped out of her Australian tour to focus on herself — so now would be a good time for him to do the same. He could figure himself out, focus on his family as he’s always said is most important, and who knows — rekindle his love with Selena?

Everyone needs a break — it has been a long year for Justin, and at such a young age, he most likely needs a breather to regroup!

Justin Retiring — Is It All For Publicity?

Even his manager Scooter Braun is hoping he takes some time off — but not for good.

“I’m telling him after this movie, I want him to take next year off and just take a break. He can still live in the studio and work on the next album, which is what he wants to do, but I just want him to take some time to himself, so he can have that time alone cause he’s been working since he was 12 years old,” Scooter told Ryan Seacrest on Dec. 18 during a KISS FM radio interview.

Speaking of that movie, Believe hits theaters Dec. 25, which is a great Christmas gift for the Beliebers.

However, his retirement news did come at the perfect time to help promote it. He knows that his fans can’t wait for the movie, but by tweeting that he’s officially done (then following it up with “I’m here forever”), he knew that the message would not only reach his fans, but the whole world’s attention.

So, I’m raising the question if he’s really hanging up his musician hat or just promoting his new movie.

What do you think HollywoodLifers? Do you think Justin is really retiring or just promoting his new movie? Let us know! (Then go see Believe.)
