First off, how did this ever become a show? Second, if you ever watch it, you are clearly a brainless monkey looking at the worst type of “entertainment” on television.

You’ve got a real problem. You’ve written about this like 15 times today. This will likely be your only writing gig.

who cares let them quit it just a reality show I believe the real world was popular at one time and was easily replaced. free speech is the cornerstone of this country but so is respect in that speech for others not what he intended to say but the insensitive and ignorant manner in which it was said.

How do you know “the manner” in which it was said? It was a magazine article. You are ignorant.

DD and DD fans will be just fine. The Robertsons could probably choose any other network to air their show on but if they don´t, there are plenty of Duck Commander videos.

He should not be suspended, but he should definitely apologize to those he offended “the show must go on”. Furthermore by apologizing Don’t mean he has to change his views

Apologize for what? Having a different opinion than they do? No he shouldn’t.

The fate of DD was sealed as soon as A&E suspended the lead actor. There is a lot of money involved here. The finale will come in the courts. After the finale, DD will be picked up by an outdoor sports network.

I’m pretty sure that all you people screaming about freedom of speech would be the first to deny that same freedom to anyone who said anything you didn’t agree with. While I firmly disagree with this Phil guy I have no problem with allowing him his freedom to say what he thinks without being sanctioned for it.

That is uneducated nonsense. I can’t stand the Westboro Baptist Church, but they should definitely be allowed to spew their nonsense. MOST people saying he should be free to speak believe this because it is part of the American fabric. The only one’s wanting to deny people their freedom of speech is GLAAD (a terrorist organization). Do you see anyone trying to shut them up? No. And, clearly most of the country disagrees with them.

Really? WHAT!!? You choose the whole Bible huh? Have you stoned a woman for infidelity (OK for men) or cut off someone’s hand for stealing? Do you beat your children when they misbehave or treat your family like property. The Bible is sooo irrelevant that it is driving smart people into insanity that don’t have the courage to question some of the crap in it!

Phil is entitled to his opinion. But if the Bible is accurate then murdering gays is perfectly fine. A&E might have a rough go with that legally!

Love the Lord your God with all your soul and and all your might and love your neighbor as yourself. Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Denise,

You say the Bible is irrelevant… Honest question- When is the last time you’ve read it?
Also, please read chapter 8 of the Gospel of John to see how Jesus dealt with a woman caught in adultery.
I respect your opinion to disagree with the Bible but please don’t take it out of context in an attempt to prove your perspective. You’re trying to deceive people on the teaching of the Bible and I’m sorry but that’s not fair.

You are quoting from the “law”. Christ said he came to “fulfill the law”, meaning those punishments are now irrelevant. He said not to “judge” which is to cause a consequence for someone. Those proclaiming the truth of the word is not causing any consequence. They are warning prior to consequences from God. THAT is love. Kind of like a little boy telling his brother, “stop before daddy beats your butt”. Does that mean the boy judged his brother or loved him enough to educate him to save him from judgement (the actual consequence)?

I do not feel that Phil has said anything wrong. He just quoted the Bible. He didn’t say he hated or disrespected anyone. He has a right to his opinion and beliefs. This is beginning to be a very sad country..This country is founded on freedom of religion and speech. What has happened to America? America just keeps turning its back on God.Have you noticed how America is falling apart? How can a country that prints IN God We Trust on our money have fallen so far from God? We were once very blessed and abundant now we can’t even except anothers freedoms anymore.Very sad!

WHAT!!?!?!?!?

Posted at 10:32 AM on December 20, 2013

Phill has every right to say how he feels specially when it comes to quoting a bible that is historically the most relevant book of all human history. Sometimes you don’t get to pick and choose what parts of the bible you like and or dislike. I doubt the show will survive on A&E maybe they can let someone else take it. A&E has a right to show what they want or don’t want.

Hollywoodlife sounds so dumb….the so called “rant” from a video from 2010 was a quote from the bible he was preaching to his church group. Morons! You guys obviously don’t know the bible or you have never mentioned in the article how he was anti-gay back in the day.

Wo w perceptions, there was no hate, pick and choose comments to make it sound worse. I have multiple gay friends whom I love dearly thatbeing said I dont understand either a woman cannot do for me what a man can and yes God does say its sin but he never told us to hate and neither did Phil he said its just his job to love everyone and let Hod sort it out. But you turn it around to make him look bad. The black issue how the he’ll do you know if they were happy and content and I am only speaking of who Phil worked the cotton fields with. But once again turn it around.

To me this is absolutely ridiculous!! Mr. Phil has the right to say whatever he pleases that is called the freedom of speech. If you take decided to take Phil out how about taking out Miley Cyrus the girl that twerks on married men and get naked on a ball in her music video that’s called indecent exposer!! But this world is so lost in being fake then listening to the truth! I’m not against homosexuals but I do not support them!! And Phil has the right to believe in what he wants so does every other person in this world! So A&E can grow up and stop being immature about Phil’s opinion because once you learn to love God then there is no room for hatred in this world! We want Phil back on the show and all these Miley Cyrus’s off our tv’s! Think about what your kids see, do you want the naked on a ball and be gay, or stand up for what’s right and be themselves in pirate not on social media!! And I’m proud of Phil for taking a stand because someone needs to in this stupid world.
