Holiday wishes really came true for some amazingly brave young kids: the guys of One Direction surprised young fans battling serious illnesses by singing two of their hits, including ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ at a charity event in London on Dec. 15.

Harry StylesLouis TomlinsonNiall Horan, and Liam Payne gave fans a real holiday surprise to remember! At a special screening of their film This Is Us, organized for the Rays Of Sunshine charity that grants wishes for seriously ill kids and teens, the guys decided to give the deserving youngsters a spontaneous private performance!

The guys of One Direction — minus Zayn Malik, who unfortunately had to miss out on the event when he was feeling under the weather, gave some brave kids an awesome, memorable day.

Getting a personal screening of the band’s movie is exciting all on its own, but the band mates decided on the spur of the moment to perform two of their songs at the meet-and-greet , just for the 36 kids and their families honored by Rays Of Sunshine!

All of the kids were also able to personally meet the guys of 1D and take their pictures with them — see some of the pics below! — and got band tees and tickets to an upcoming concert, according to E! Online.

Rays Of Sunshine was absolutely thrilled that their kids got to experience such a wonderful meet and greet, and were so proud of the guys for going the extra mile to spread the good cheer.

They also shared adorable photos from the event!

What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Do you think it was sweet of One Direction to surprise the kids?
