The ‘Newsroom’ star was glowing at the 27th American Cynemathique Awards honoring Jerry Bruckheimer, held at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on Dec. 12.

Celebrity hairstylist Mika Fowler created the gorgeous look on Olivia Munn for the event. Mika is breaking down the look EXCLUSIVELY for HollywoodLife.com — see the step-by-step below!

Olivia Munn’s Hair — Get Her Look At The American Cynemathique Awards

Mika tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY how to get Olivia’s hairstyle for yourself:

“Step 1: You want to blow dry the hair straight using a large roll brush to give the hair volume near the roots — it is important to use a thermal protectant spray to make sure you are not damaging the hair.

Step 2: Spray the hair with a holding spray and gathering the hair in 1inch sections — use a 1 ¼ inch barrel curling iron to curl from the ends up to the mid shaft of the hair. This allows you to create that soft bounce and cascading wave.

Step 3: To modernize this look you want to create a deep part in the front of the hair and brush the hair to separate the curls. Finish it off by using Joico’s Power Spray which will lend to a weightless hold that will carry you into the night.”

Along with her slightly curled hair, Olivia rocked a bright red lip. It’s the perfect way to get a festive look for a holiday party in under 5 minutes!

Do you love Olivia’s hair and makeup, HollywoodLifers?
