Katrina may have an incredible singing voice, but she’s willing to be silenced — at least temporarily — for a good cause!
Katrina Parker is using her Voice for good. The songstress, who was a finalist on Team Adam during the NBC competition show’s second season, is lending her face to Adam Bouska‘s NOH8 campaign — and HollywoodLife.com has your first look at Katrina’s official portrait!
Per NOH8’s official website, here’s what Adam and partner Jeff Parshley set out to achieve:
The NOH8 Campaign is a photographic silent protest created by celebrity photographer Adam Bouska and partner Jeff Parshley in direct response to the passage of Proposition 8. Photos feature subjects with duct tape over their mouths, symbolizing their voices being silenced by Prop 8 and similar legislation around the world, with “NOH8” painted on one cheek in protest.
And if you’re craving more of Katrina — whose new EP, In And Out Of The Dark, is currently for sale online — then you’re in luck! She’s doing an internet show TONIGHT at 9 p.m. EST, and as of this posting, there are still 11 tickets left! (You can purchase tickets here.)
HollywoodLife.com is a big supporter of the NOH8 campaign, so we love seeing our favorite celebs joining the cause. Go Katrina!
