The Glee star looked great in a chic, black cutout dress by British label, Three Floor, while in Los Angeles on December 14, 2013.
Lea Michele seems to be getting more confident in the spotlight since laying her late boyfriend Cory Monteith to rest just a few months ago. While at a charity event hosted by SodaStream at Switch Boutique in Los Angeles, the actress rocked a simple, yet gorgeous black cutout dress. The event benefited the non-profit organization, Chrysalis.
Lea Michele’s Stunning Cutout Dress
Lea’s petite frame and super tiny waist are flattered in all kinds of ways in this Three Floor dress. She complimented the dress with a pair of strappy black Louboutin sandals. Later, she added a Preen leather jacket. Lea opted for very little jewelry with this look — and she didn’t need it. Keeping the focus on her dress, she only wore a ring on her right hand. She also chose a kind of pop of color against her black dress with her rich, burgundy nail color. Her make-up was also more muted, with just a brown smokey eye and nude lips.
With a new album about to be released, and her new single “Cannonball” out, it appears Lea is back in full force since her boyfriend’s death. We love seeing her at more events nowadays, especially her interview and performance on Ellen! As she makes her way back into the Hollywood scene, we are so excited to see her fashion choices. Lea is the best at rocking these clean silhouettes with interesting details. In this particular look, the tea-length is perfect for her height, and pulling her hair back makes her shoulder’s appear more statuesque against the cutouts of her dress.
She was supported at the event by her Glee costars, Naya Rivera, Chord Overstreet and Becca Tobin.
What do you guys think of her outfit? Do you think Lea pulls off the cutout trend?
