Do you think the right castaway won ‘Survivor: Blood Vs. Water?’ Drop a comment with your take on this season’s results!

After 39 days of beach-bumming and back-stabbing in the Philippines — more so the latter than the former — host Jeff Probst ushered in a new winner on the Dec. 15 finale of Survivor: Blood Vs. Water. Drumroll please…

‘Survivor’ Winner: Tyson Apostol Wins ‘Blood Vs. Water’

Following the final tribunal meeting, and preceding the intense reunion, Tyson Apostol was revealed to be the winner of season 27 — and more importantly, the $1 million grand prize! With (at least) five of the eight votes in his name, Tyson won hands-down.

Physical skill is one thing, but as we all know, it takes more than that to win Survivor. When the Blood Vs. Water finale began, only four contestants remained — Gervase Peterson</strong Monica Culpepper, Ciera Eastin and Tyson — and Ciera was the first to be ousted during the finale.

My favorite part of the two-hour extravaganza was the last tribunal meeting, when the castaways confronted each other about some of the secrets they’d been keeping all season — and Monica broke down in tears.

“Have y’all never met a nice person?!” she asked her fellow competitors, who all appeared to be ganging up on her.

HollywoodLifers, do you think Tyson deserved to win Survivor: Blood Vs. Water? Drop a comment with your thoughts on the victor of season 27!

Glad I missed it! He was a sneaky snake! Wanted him gone. No one was witty enough to get him out. They all deserved to lose! Next!

Donna…. Survivor has been taking many “shortcuts” in production, prizes, etc. through the years, as the show, unfortunately, still popular with a cult-core audience, is nonetheless, sinking slowly
in the ratings. Thus, the “second” prize bonus also disappeared. The “tribute” portion of the
final 3 also was missing last night.

I’m glad i went to bed before Tina was voted out. This was the first Survivor I watched
since the all star game. I guess I’ll wait till the next all star game.

Tyson played a good game. He wasn’t my favorite to win. But he did seem to have everyone tied around his finger.

The final four were Monica, Tyson, Gervace, and TINA, not Ciera. How could you get that wrong?
