Beyonce featured her adorable daughter Blue Ivy front and center in a beautiful tribute song appropriately titled ‘Blue,’ but talented young twerkers also spotlighted their dance moves for the mommy-daughter duo to give Blue her Twerking 101 introduction!
Beyonce surprised everyone when she secretly released a full 14-track album on Dec. 13 — complete with stunning visual videos — but we were almost even more excited to see that she included footage of her adorable 1-year-old little girl, Blue Ivy, in an emotional song that she called “Blue.” But what modern music video would be complete without some trendy dancers — twerkers, to be exact! — to really put on a show!
Beyonce’s ‘Blue’ — Blue Ivy Learns What Twerking Is
In the video, 32, Beyonce struts (as only she can) down the beach with her daughter at her hip as she sings a beautiful lyric that proves the mommy-daughter duo’s close bond.
“You and I together, baby. Come on, won’t you hold on to me?” Beyonce croons, soulfully.
As the video cuts to playful scenes on the beach and adorable kids enjoying the sun and the surf, Beyonce features some young ladies shaking their stuff and twerking!
Beyonce’s video really captures the fun energy of a summer vacation — like the ones mama Bey and her baby B have shared together!
Beyonce Surprises Fans With Brand New Album
“I didn’t want to release my music the way I’ve done it. I am bored with that. I feel like I am able to speak directly to my fans,” Beyonce said in a statement when she surprised everyone with an unexpected album release, complete with 14 songs and 17 stunning videos. We love her creative way of releasing her album, and the songs are some of her best yet! Beyonce also features her husband Jay Z on the new album, making it a real family project!
Beyonce’s album is already available on iTunes, but the individual tracks will be released on Dec. 20.
What do YOU think, HollyMoms? Are you so excited that Beyonce featured Blue Ivy on her surprise album?
