Paul’s family received his remains Dec. 10, from the LA County Coroner’s office. But it will take quite some time before the postmortem exam is officially complete and we can reveal why.
Paul Walker‘s family will finally be able to lay him to rest. But even though the family was given Paul’s body so they could move forward with funeral plans, a new report claims that it could take at least 90 days before the exact cause of the crash is revealed.
Paul Walker’s Cause Of Car Crash Could Take 90 Days
Investigators have been working for weeks to determine why Paul’s 2005 Porsche Carrera GT spun out of control on Nov. 30. Even though the cause of death was revealed as being caused by “traumatic and thermal injuries” what happened to cause them to lose control is unknown. Could it have been speed? Was it due to a steering fluid leak in the car? Or is it true that were racing another vehicle and hit a bump in the road?
Police say it could take 90 days or more to get to the bottom of these pressing questions.
Paul Walker Cremated
We told you that the family has plans to have Paul creamated and that they will have a larger service for friends and family, invitation-only and closed to press.
Meadow Walker, 15, is said to be taking things very hard and the family is trying to protect her.
“Meadow’s heartbroken and grieving but she’s showing an incredible amount of strength” a source said. “Everyone is amazed by how strong she is. Her family is all focused on looking after her and protecting her, but she’s actually helping them.”
Paul’s father, Paul Walker Sr. spoke out about her coping:
“She’s so sweet and beautiful,” he told E! News. “I’m gonna have a real hard time talking with Meadow. I really am. It’s gonna be a tough deal. Gonna be real rough.”
This is so sad, we hope the family gets some closure once they have his funeral.
