Paul Walker’s family reportedly plan to have him cremated and interred at a small personal ceremony this coming weekend.
On Dec. 11, Paul Walker‘s family were seen at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, looking for a burial spot for the late actor. They are currently planning a private service where only family and the cast of The Fast and the Furious will be invited, to keep it as personal as possible.
Paul Walker Cremated
The family plans to have Paul creamated, a source told E! News, and his ashes will be interred this weekend. They plan to also have a larger gathering for friends and family to remember him, but it will still be invitation-only and closed to press.
Paul Walker’s family are staying as private as possible to protect Paul’s daughter, Meadow Walker. The 15-year-old has been extremely strong, a source close to the family told HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
Meadow Walker ‘Has A Very Strong Spirit’
“Meadow’s heartbroken and grieving but she’s showing an incredible amount of strength” a source said. “Everyone is amazed by how strong she is. Her family is all focused on looking after her and protecting her, but she’s actually helping them.”
Paul’s father, Paul Walker Sr. said that he knew how hard it was going to be for her.
“She’s so sweet and beautiful,” he told E! News. “I’m gonna have a real hard time talking with Meadow. I really am. It’s gonna be a tough deal. Gonna be real rough.”
Our source also told us that Meadow is really trying to keep his charity, Reach Out Worldwide going as her father was so proud of it.
“That’s his legacy and the thing that he was most proud of, besides Meadow, so she’s really committed to making sure it lives on,” he said.
Our thoughts go out to Paul’s friends and family during this time.
