Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Madonna — these are only three of the amazing women who topped Forbes’ annual highest paid women in music list. Their incomes ranged from a whopping $125 million to an also whopping $29 million, but one HollywoodLife staple clocked in at number two with a very impressive $80 million.
Lady Gaga, 27, and Taylor Swift, 23, have both had pretty epic years. And on Dec. 12, both ladies made the cut when Forbes released its annual list of the ten highest paid women in music. Though Madonna topped the list with a jaw-dropping $125 million, one of these two ladies came in second with a cool $80 million. So, who do you think it was? Read below to find out!
Lady Gaga Made $80 Million In 2013
She lives for the applause, but the cash doesn’t hurt either! Lady Gaga came in second behind Madonna, earning a shocking $80 million in 2013. Much of the ARTPOP singer’s income came from her latest tour, which brought in $168 million before she had to call it quits due to a hip injury.
Coming in third was Taylor, who crooned her way to $55 million worth of success in a year where she racked up endorsement deals with Diet Coke, Sony, and Covergirl. Not too bad for the girl on the bleachers, eh?

Katy Perry, Rihanna, And More Top Off Forbes’ Highest Paid
Madonna, Gaga, and Taylor were the big top three, but the rest of the top ten still have many millions to sing about. Beyoncé came in fourth with $53 million, while Jennifer Lopez staged an epic comeback that led to a $45 million year. Right behind her was Rihanna with $43 million, Katy Perry with $39 million, Pink with $32 million, Carrie Underwood with $31 million, and finally the lovely Ms. Mariah Carey with $29 million. (Hey, we’d still take it!) Congrats, ladies — enjoy that holiday shopping!
