Evangeline Lily Hobbit Dress

The actress attended the NYC premiere of the highly-anticipated film, where she rocked a rather unflattering frock — what was she thinking?! What do you think of the dress? VOTE.

Evangeline Lily walked the red carpet alongside her co-star, Orlando Bloom, at the NYC screening of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug on Dec. 11, where the 34-year-old actress opted for an interesting ensemble for the occasion — and it certainly wasn’t her best dress.

Evangeline Lily’s ‘Hobbit’ Premiere Dress:

Evangeline showed off a sleeveless Paper London dress. While the ensemble allowed her to show off her toned arms, it did nothing for the rest of her figure! The color-blocked frock featured a high neckline and a drop waist, and as the dress extended the blue bodice turned into a white skirt. While I appreciate her taking a chance on the red carpet, unfortunately this was a total fashion flop in my book.

Evangeline Lily’s ‘Hobbit’ Premiere Dress In Berlin:

The actress had been all over the place promoting the film’s release — in fact, just this week she was at the Berlin premiere on Dec. 9! Although she let us down with her NYC look, she really wowed us on the red carpet for the Germany premiere, as she rocked a navy gown that fit her figure perfectly. Her Alberta Ferretti dress was so elegant, classic, and chic — we loved it!

While her Berlin frock was premiere perfect, her NYC dress was slightly disastrous — but what do you think of the star’s dress? Do you love that she decided to show off something different or do you think it was a total let down? VOTE and comment below!
