I bet all these whiners out here, who said they will never watch the show again, will be front & center in their TVs on the season 7 premiere to see how things will turn out. They just can’t help it!

It was possible to have an ending where Jax and Tara and the boys got out of that life and got to be together, even if it was years later after he had done his time in prison. Instead, they went for cheap shock value. The moral seems to be that if you fall in love with the wrong person and make mistakes when you are young you will live your life in terror, be punished forever and then die horribly. I don’t really see the point in watching the next series. I’ll just get a recap at the end and find out what happens to them all. Even Gemma, a psychotic, control freak, horror of a human being, who doesn’t understand the world love, deserved a better fate than that. He took a complex, if unlikable, character and turned her into a monster.

Kurt Sutter mentioned very early on that the show is somewhat inspired by Hamlet, meaning it’s a tragedy series! I’ve been very pleased with I’ve seen so far. If good morals are what you look forward to in a show, then this is definitely not for you – maybe you’re better off watching Seinfeld and all those disney movies.

This is not how it really goes down unless you compress 20yrs into a few seasons. I lived the life this is just tabloid garbage.

I agree. It’s like compressing the experiences/exploits of several into one or two people and all being in a short amount of time. No club that size could ever hope to survive the attention draw or get to keep wearing their own patch. The first season had it right, then it started veering toward BS until it landed there this season.

Man… The crackhead is gonna raise those boys with the help of the club. Jax will die next season and the fears of him and Tara will come true. Those boys will lead the club one day just as Jax and his dad did. This show is so predictable.. Man Soap Opera.

I’m worried that in the end Gemma isn’t going to get what is coming to her and we are going to see her raising those boys. This show isn’t one for doing what the viewers want and even though everyone is waiting to see an epic Jax and Gemma showdown with Gemma being killed Sutter might go another way and let the villain of the show get away with everything she has ever done. If that happens I am going to be so disappointed and feel the whole show was a waste. I hope Tara’s death wasn’t in vain and Sutter has something really big planned for next season to explain why it was necessary because right now I just don’t really see it.

If Jax goes to jail, the thought of Gemma raising those boys makes my skin crawl.
Gemma killed her husband, Jax’s father and blamed Clay, now she kills Jax’ wife and will
probably blame Juice, who has already fallen out of favor with SAMCRO.

That death scene was horrible, I keep reliving it in my mind. Poor Tara, she just wanted to protect her babies.
I onlyhope Jax realizes what a Shrew of a mother he has.

This is my final season of the Son’s. This whole season has been too extreme first the shooting in the school and Tara getting brutality murder by a women who should have been writen off a long time ago. Tara and Jax were the show…from the fights to the drama and now with her gone he will be left to be mama’s little bit** or get back with a crack whore who should have been the one killed off. No more seasons Kurt this one sucked.

I think people forget that this show was written with a parallel to Hamlet in mind. Tara met the same tragic fate as Ophelia. I expected this, so maybe it was not as much a shocker. I will say the way she went was a raw deal, but I think that was true to the show, and true to who Gemma is. I found this to be superb writing and execution!

I am shocked and appalled by Tara’ death. All she wanted to do was save her children from that life. Tara was the dove in the road. :( Now who will fight to save those children? That crack whore Wendy?! While Tara was pissing me off throughout season 6, I understood her motivation. There was no need for her to die… not like that. With gemma drowning her and stabbing here in the back of the head. That was so stupid. She didnt even get a chance to fight back… and the cop, hasnt he done enough for this club. Why did he have to go. Juice should have been the one to die this season and Tara should have been the last one standing… I f**king hope Gemma dies. That B**tch is not Jax’s Mother.

Yes he will. It’s pretty obvious that he’s going to be blamed for killing Tara & Roosevelt. That’s why they made a point to show the D.A. look at the gun he dropped on the floor, then the bodies.

When the D.A. Walked in the kitchen, the first thing she did was look at the gun Jax dropped on the floor. She will say he was never going to turn himself in and pin this on him!

Yes but once the evidence comes back it will shoe the gun was discharged and there isnt any residue on Jax’s hands. The DA doesn’t have any leverage against the club now that Tara is dead so Jax will not be arrested for the KG9’s and will be released once the evidence comes back so he will raise those boys kill his mother after he finds out abt the truth abt his father’s and Tara’s death. Then ride into the sunset with his boys and leave the club life behind.

Let’s be accurate here…he wasn’t going to jail “for her.” He was responsible for distributing the gun that ended up being used in the school shooting. He also sent Tara to try and reach out to Otto in order to kill the RICO evidence against them in the first place, setting the whole murdered nurse/otto fiasco into motion. I never understood all season how he was willing to let Tara take the fall for him and the club. when she was just doing what he asked and trying to be a good “Old Lady.” In this episode, Jax was doing what he should of done by taking responsibility for his actions instead of letting his family suffer from them. He wasn’t “taking the high road,” but the right one…finally. Super tragic ending.

I’m pretty sure Tara was the one who purposely covered up her first encounter with Otto while volunteering inside the prison. Sure, Jax asked her to speak to Otto.. but Tara never once objected. In fact, she went beyond what she had to do.. by taking in the perfume, agreeing to take him the Rosary, deciding it would be okay if he wore it even while she left the room. Did Jax initially ask her to make contact with Otto because she was the only person that could at the time..? Yes, but what followed was the result of choices made by Tara. I’m also pretty sure he spent all season trying to get the case against her dropped, which wouldn’t be him ‘willing to let Tara take the all for him and the club’. Hence, why when there were no other options or ‘other way’s’, he made the deal with D.A. Patterson. Hate Jax much? Story line hitting a little too close to home for you?

As he said, she was doing what a old lady is supposed to do. Nothing you said refutes that. He was taking the right road, just like he said. How does accurately describing jax’s culpability equal “hating jax”? Your last sentence is just bizarre.

Tara should have never been killed. She was the only person who put her boys before all others and would have protected them with her life. Any other ending would have been better than killing her off. I know this was good as a shocker but all in all I would much rather watched Jema go down in some kind of violent deed. NOT HAPPY WITH THE ENDING AT ALL !!!!!

Yes, it was good to see him finally redeem himself, he had been acting like such a completely selfish, utterly immoral loser for so long, seeing him remember that his duty to be a good dad and husband came first was so great. And so sad that it ended like that.
