There are still many questions about what will happen to Paul’s character in the 7th installment of ‘Fast & Furious.’ Will he be edited out altogether? Not if Paul’s parents can help it! They say their son definitely would have wanted to remain in the film.
As the Fast & Furious 7 producing team grapples with what to do with the film that was halted after Paul Walker‘s tragic death on Nov. 30, the actor’s parents, Paul Walker Sr. and Cheryl Waker, have now revealed what they would like to see done with their son’s character Brian O’Conner.
Paul Walker In ‘Fast & Furious 7’: His Parents Want His Character To Be In Film
Paul brought his character Brian O’Connor to life in the very first The Fast and the Furious film in 2001. Now his parents are speaking out about why they don’t want his character to be edited out of the newest flick in the franchise.
The Walker family “has made it known to Paul’s co-stars, that they don’t want him cut out of the movie,” an insider tells RadarOnline. “It wouldn’t be what Paul would have wanted.”
Fast & Furious fans would surely agree that Brian, one the franchise’s most beloved characters, should not be edited out.
“Paul absolutely loved being a part of the Fast & Furious franchise. His family knows writers and producers will handle Paul’s death with dignity and understanding,” the source explains. “Of course, his family is focused on Paul’s upcoming funeral, and taking care of his teenage daughter, Meadow.”
Fast & Furious 7‘s director James Wan has assured fans that the film will eventually resume production, but he hasn’t confirmed any other details.
