Paul Walker’s family is moving forward in planning Paul’s funeral. In a new photo, they are seen at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, in Hollywood, Cali. looking for the spot they will bury the actor.
It’s been 11 days since the tragic accident that killed Paul Walker on Nov. 30, and now his family is planning to honor him in a private ceremony at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills. His funeral, set to take place this weekend, will include family and close friends, as well as the cast of The Fast and the Furious.
Paul Walker’s Family Looking For Burial Site
Paul’s father and a few other family members were spotted at the Memorial Park on Dec. 11 where they were looking for the burial spot for their loved one, TMZ reported.
“They want to make sure that everyone who wants to mourn will be together and all schedules match. They hopefully will have more of an idea next week,” a friend of Paul’s told HollywoodLife.com exclusively about the planning of the funeral.
However, we do know that they are keeping it small and super private — especially to protect his daughter, Meadow Walker, 15.
Funeral Will Be Private To Protect Meadow
It’s understandable that Meadow is having an extremely difficult time, so the family does not want the funeral to be any bigger than it has to be.
“Meadow’s heartbroken and grieving but she’s showing an incredible amount of strength,” a source told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “Everyone is amazed by how strong she is. Her family is all focused on looking after her and protecting her, but she’s actually helping them. She has a very strong spirit, just like Paul, and it’s been a huge blessing for everyone to have her close.”
Meadow was spotted on Dec. 4, wearing her father’s Bass Pro Shop hat, looking somber outside his home in California.
