The fact that this talentless 3rd rate wannabe was even nominated downgrades this award to a an unimportant valueless achievement for the eventual winner – she has contributed nothing of value to the world. Her nomination says more about the values current in the western world. So unfortunate

excuse me i have a question for you…. do you think it is necessary to call miley cyrus that…. wait, i will answer that for you…NO, it’s NOT because Miley IS NOT an ugly dog…. how would you feel if somebody called you an ugly dog…. would you like it….. jeez give Miley a damn break…. people are trash talking about her and i think Miley deserves a lot of respect…. she is NOT a kid anymore and guess what…. i STILL have respect for her and always and forever will support and defend miley cyrus……. people on here, including you, need to cut miley some slack because she probably is SICK of the trash talking you guys give her and i SERIOUSLY am FED up with the crap talking about miley cyrus… ii am sorry but people need to give miley a break…

SERIOUSLY?? Who are they kidding?? A “person of the year” should be a POSITIVE role model who people look up to! My vote would go to the Pope! Not some “20-something” exhibitionist who has grand DE- lusions about her “influence” on pop culture!! Hopefully she will soon be as irrelevant as possible and stop garnering so much UNNECESSARY publicity!

She has done literally nothing but act like a hoe to garner attention and admits to it. If this generation really thinks that being a self admitted ratchet-h** is something to be proud of then we’re all screwed. This is an honor and should only be reserved for people with some integrity and at least try to make the world/society a better taste or have real talent without a shameless gimmick. I’m so glad she and Kanye West didn’t get a Grammy nomination.

If this “thing” wins that means the generation is definately in the sewer! I mean all this girl is missing is showing her snatch! GIVE IT UP MILEY YOUR THE NEXT KARDASHIAN.. I give it 5 years. Stay tuned for the sex tape escapades! Sorry Miley I like you before but damn girl KEEP YOUR CLOTHES ON.. Unlike kim kardashian you actually HAVE TALENT.

She’s done nothing but be a hoe, why should she win because my generation is full of degenerates with no future but smoking, partying, and drinking while idolizing the auto-tune no talent idiots in Lala land (hollywood)?

i dont want to sound rude or nothing but miley is NOT a little kid anymore. she has blossum into a BEAUTIFUL, GORGEOUS, LOVELY, and PRETTY adult… back when she used to play Hannah Montana, she was BEAUTIFUL, GORGEOUS, LOVELY, and PRETTY!!! if parents of young children have issues will it then have them ask their children not to do that stuff but i am betting you that as soon as their little kids turns into raging sexual teens, its NOT miley fault…. i always and forever will defend and support miley…

@ Brandon Clement, so nice. I love it. I like Miley and her music. Have you hear her new song with Future and Mr. Hudson? What really really beautiful song ;-)

I so agree with you! I love her new album! I really think role models should be people who are actually apart of someones life, not singers, sport stars, or actors! If your child is doing something wrong it is the parents fault nit Miley! Seems that no one wants her to grow up! She is not and never was Hannah Montana!

You’re sick. That’s not blossoming, it’s actually someone in the last throe’s of some sort of terminal disease. The good thing about that is that there is an end to it, hopefully soon.
