Miley Cyrus: Will She Be ‘Time’ Magazine’s Person Of The Year?
Nancy Gibbs, the managing editor of Time revealed the nominees for the Person of the Year on the Today show. Below is the full list:
Sen. Ted Cruz
“Power is not just political,” Nancy said on Today when asked about Miley landing on the list. “It can be cultural, it can be spiritual. She came in like a wrecking ball, literally. At a time when you’re living with an explosion of exhibitionism since we all now carry cameras with us at all times, she is a symbol of the way we live.”
Miley Will Not Be Person Of The Year
So, while Miley definitely is a symbol of something, HollywoodLife.com has learned exclusively from an insider that she’s “definitely not going to be the Person of the Year.”
It’s such a prestegious honor — pervious winners include John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Pope John Paul II. Last year’s winner was President Obama — his second time winning, as he was also named Person of the Year in 2008.
So HollywoodLifers — do you think Miley should be Person of the Year? Let us know!
