The mom and star of ‘The Little Couple’ revealed her heartbreaking cancer diagnosis on Dec. 6, but she is already hoping to share her story for educational purposes. The neonatalist will feature her recovery process on the upcoming season of her TLC show.
Dr. Jennifer Arnold has decided to share her shocking cancer diagnosis and recovery process with the world on her and her husband Bill Klein‘s reality TV show, The Little Couple. She is used to having life with her family, including son Will and recently adopted daughter, Zoey, out in the open, but as a doctor, she hopes her journey will inspire and educate viewers.
‘The Little Couple’ Cancer: Dr. Jennifer Arnold’s Recovery To Be Shared On Show
“TLC has chronicled Bill and Jen’s lives since 2009 and at their request, we will be following them through this challenge,” a TLC spokesperson told People. “Jen is a doctor and teacher and she saw this as an opportunity to educate and possibly help, through sharing her story.”
Jen, 39, has kept upbeat since revealing that she is battling a rare form of cancer and going through chemo and surgery. She continues to thank fans for their support on Twitter, and reach out to others fighting cancer:
Thank you to everyone for your well wishes at #GetWellJen! You all make me smile! To all those out there battling cancer, Get Well!

‘The Little Couple’ Sharing Family Life On Show
The couple is used to living their lives on screen in hopes of educating others. “We allowed our lives to be filmed because we wanted people to understand more about our condition and others who are like us,” Bill told People earlier in 2013, of the couple’s decision to let their private lives be featured on reality TV.
The couple have also used the show as a platform to educate viewers about dwarfism, a condition their whole family has.
“A little girl came up to me in a store and said, ‘You are a little person,’ very matter-of-factly and I said, ‘Yes, I am, thank you very much,’ ” Jen previously told People. “We have an opportunity to raise awareness and that’s wonderful.”
What do YOU think, HollyMoms? Are you glad that Jen will be sharing her cancer recovery on the show?
