Joe Jonas wasn’t afraid to diss Demi in his ‘New York Magazine,’ but he was afraid to face her afterward! After getting tipped off that she was about to arrive to the ‘Nylon’ party in West Hollywood on Dec. 5, he left, an eyewitness told HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
Joe Jonas recently trashed his ex-girlfriend Demi Lovato, saying that she and Miley Cyrus pressured him into smoking weed for the first time. And while Demi took the high road on Twitter, HollywoodLife.com exclusively learned that she’s actually not happy about it — at all.
Joe Jonas Avoids Demi Lovato
Joe, 21, who’s featured in Nylon: Guys‘ January 2014 issue, showed up at the party at SmashBox Studio Stage 1 with girlfriend Blanda Eggenschwiler on his arm (and a strange mustache on his face).
However, he didn’t stay at the party that long. An eyewitness told HollywoodLife.com that when he got word that Demi was on her way, he left the party!
He was clearly avoiding his ex, who is the cover girl of Nylon‘s January 2014 issue. Not that we blame him!
A source close to the 24-year-old X Factor judge told us exclusively that Demi found his comments way out of line. So, why would she want to hang out with him after that?
Demi Keeps It Cordial On Twitter
Demi may be livid about the comments, but she isn’t making a big deal about it publicly.
“@joejonas love you brother. #family/friendsforever,” Demi tweeted out on Dec. 2, a day after the article hit the web. The two did date for a few months in 2010, and have remained close friends after, so it’s understandable that she didn’t want to publicly bash him.
However, that’s also a reason for her to be really mad — he’s someone she really cares about! What do you think HollywoodLifers? Are you surprised she’s mad?
