Paul’s ‘Fast & the Furious’ co-stars, Michelle and Vin, are mourning the tragic loss of their friend — and visited Paul’s mother and father at their home two days after his death to express their sorrow.
Michelle Rodriguez and Vin Diesel‘s love for Paul Walker truly runs deep. They were more than just co-stars to him, since they paid their respects at Cheryl Walker and Paul Walker Sr.‘s home on Dec. 2 after Paul tragically died in a car accident on Nov. 30. Vin also referred to Paul as his “brother” during his private memorial service, also on Dec. 2., and Michelle called him her “brother” in an emotional tweet.
Michelle Rodriguez & Vin Diesel Visited Paul Walker’s Parents After Crash
“Two days later, Michelle and Vin traveled to Paul’s parents’ home in Sunland, Calif., to pay their respects,” reported Us Weekly. So sweet.
Paul, 40, and Michelle, 35, starred in five Fast and the Furious movies together. Paul and Vin, 46, starred in seven together.
Less than 24 hours after Paul’s fatal car accident, another Fast and Furious co-star Tyrese Gibson visited the crash site, where he immediately broke down in tears. In a video, he openly sobs while holding a yellow lily that he eventually places on a mound of flowers in memory of Paul. He’s also helping Paul’s parents with funeral plans.
Vin Diesel: Paul Walker Is An ‘Angel In Heaven’
A private family memorial service for Paul and Roger Rodas, 38, was held at the car crash site in Santa Clarita, Calif. Michelle, Tyrese, Ludacris and Vin attended. Police vacated fans and media outlets from the area for the service, but Vin made an emotional and impromptu speech to hundreds of fans that gathered at the site after the memorial.
“I just want to say to all of you, if my brother were here right now and he saw all of the love you are bringing here. If he could see for himself that all of you have shown up to show my brother love… At this hard time his family gets to see all of you show the love that you’ve shown Paul. It’s going to stay with me forever. I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for coming down here and showing that angel up in heaven how much you appreciate him.”
We’re so glad that Michelle, Vin, Ludacris and Tyrese are being such wonderful comforts to Paul’s family and friends during this tragic time.
