It’s the year of Nori and Korie! The list of top baby names in the United States in 2013 has been revealed, and names plucked right from pop culture and reality TV are claiming their spots among classic family names!

Pop culture’s influence over baby names is consistently present, but some surprising stars’ names are quickly gained popularity with new parents in 2013! North West is only 5 months old, but she and her parents Kim Kardashian and Kanye West‘s names are all trending! Duck Dynasty‘s Korie Robertson‘s pretty name is becoming more common in little girls’ names! Find out which celebrities have added their sway to the trends!

Top Baby Names 2013: ‘Duck Dynasty,’ North West & Kardashians Trending Names

The Kardashian-West family have their influence everywhere, so it’s no surprise that their names are only growing in popularity.

Kanye’s name climbed up 2,228 spots on the list since 2012 — and his daughter’s pretty nickname, Nori, is quickly on the rise, according to BabyCenter.com. Versions of Kim and Kimberly have always been popular, but are experiencing a continued high in popularity.

The overwhelming popular show, Duck Dynasty, has put some classic names like Will (#13 top boy’s name of 2013), and Jack (#10 — think Si‘s catchphrase!) back in the spotlight. Korie’s own name even rose 13,262 spots on the charts since 2012!

The top names list combines names of similar spellings and pronunciations.

Thank a Hemsworth brother, Disick tot, and Smith family prodigy for some of the most popular names for baby boys! The top 10 boys’ names of 2013 are: Jackson, Aiden, Liam, Lucas, Noah, Mason, Jayden, Ethan, Jacob and Jack.

Fashionable starlets and even fictional characters like Bella Swan lend their pretty names to some of the trending monikers for girls. The top 10 girls’ names of 2013 are: Sophia, Emma, Olivia, Isabella, Mia, Ava, Lily, Zoe, Emily, Chloe.
