This is exactly why I think shows the format for these talent shows does not work. Obviously it becomes a personality contest not a voice contest. I just hope that Matthew Schuller’s career will sky rocket. He did not deserve to go home. Seeing the poll obviously most people did not think he should have been eliminated either. What happens I believe with some of the best talent is that the audience gets complacence with their vote because they think that they are shoe-ins and they don’t bother voting for them. Sad to see him go but I know the Lord has his life mapped out for him.

I’m a brazilian girl, I love the American The Voice and I’m completely disappointed now! Matthew is the best one! He should’ve stayed with Tess and Jac Lee… said, said, said…. I can’t believe it.

a great singer turns in more than one good performance. In almost every song, he was flat, sharp and pitchy, yes he has an above average voice, but will only be successful with hand-picked songs that fall in his limited range, he has no broad range ability.

For all you Matthew fans out there, Please, the guy hit more sour, pitchy notes than anyone. His only A+ was Hallelujah (and that was awesome). Yeah, he is adorable and sweet and has the whole “my Dad is a Pastor, I grew up in the church” thing going on. Last week, Caroline was sent home, instead of Matthew, when she hit a Homerun with her rendition of a Florence and the Machine song. I believe the only thing that saved Matthew this long was all of the false praise heaped on by the coaches, his fans who voted because he is adorable and the fact he was the only minority left (before you call me a racist, I should let you know I have a son who I love and adore that is black).

Get off of Jacquie’s back. She has the chops to be there, unlike last season’s winner, Danielle Bradberry. She had a nice pleasant voice, but Blake did not challenge her once with anything other than a good ole country diddy. Michelle Chamuel took songs from all walks of life and blew each one away. She has twice the talent as the “little country girl from Texas”, but didn’t evidently “LOOK the PART” for the American viewers.

The all around best performer, thus far has got to be WILL, hands down. Cole has had some excellent moments (not that many), James rocked the “Queen “song (sometimes a little pitchy), Tessanne can bring it on most songs (her over-the-top thing can be a bit disruptive) and Jacquie does have what it takes ( although she doesn’t have the range needed to win, give her a couple of years).

Will has tackled songs from blues, to rock, to pop, and has delivered on everyone of them. Based on versatility and consistency, he is by far the front-runner. As long as he continues to deliver, WILL CHAMPLIN should be this season’s winner of the VOICE.

Will should’ve been the one sent home. what show are you watching cuz it can’t be The Voice. Will is the one that’s pitchy each and every week. Matthew nailed when a man loves a woman.

Matthew went downhill from the Blind Auditions. I think Xtina was not a great choice of coaches in his case. Like Jacquie he often seemed to be screaming or shouting, not singing. Xtina has incredible pipes, but has a tendency to mold her team members to belt songs out like she does. They tend to over sing as a result. Even Xtina is the best I’ve ever heard her on “Say Something”, where she had to restrain her voice and be more subtle. Matthew could have benefited from the same.

Totally agree with you and all who agreed with me from the beginning of this process–Jacquie needs to go ??? She begins every single song SCREAMING it out. There’s no build, and when she came out there as if she were Janice Joplin–Please. Had she tried to own that song and do it WITHOUT heart, then maybe it would have been more real. That’s what I think anyway. And Matthew? I’m going to cry. I was writing a song suggestion for next week (“I wanna be your man” by Roger–I know, old kind of corny but he would do it so well…and it’s different) when I saw he’d been eliminated. Was too nervous to watch last night…. This is what I was afraid of. It’s not that Jacquie is so awful, but she’s just not in the same league as Will, James, Cole and most of all… Matthew. Now I am going to cry.

She absolutely cannot sing so I do not know why they are pumping her head up all this time. She screams and she can not walk in the shoes they put on her. I will never watch another season of this. Yes you are dead right. No heart as far as I see — terrible thing to say, but this is stiff competition and I CANNOT BELIEVE the public ??? who are thing numb-nuts anyway or are we the crazy ones who see talent that is unique in Matthew? My mom used to correct my grammar all the time which was annoying but now I do it… I’d started to say “so unique” and heard her voice in my head–There is no such thing as SO unique… Unique stands absolutely alone. It cannot be quantified or qualified or described in any other way except it stands alone. Just like Matthew. I want to cry.

I think you have it perfect with the words ‘forces her voice’. That’s why I found her empty, shallow–as if she was singing a song the way she thought she should feel when singing it and not feeling anything. Right? Ugh.

, christina is a good coach .. i think matthew never did a wrong choice upon chosing her. One thingis for sure, matthew is a great singer and loved by many just that many people doesnt have the chance of voting him bt that doesnt mean that he has less fans/supporters. Im praying taht he will be given a contract and be heard by many and if that time comes even us from far places can show our support to him. I have an utter faith that he’ll soon will go far success more taht he achieved ryt now. He’s a good person and a talented one so there’s no reason why he shouldnt.. I’ll be his numebr one fan.:)

Okay, I am not trying to be mean, but I can not figure out how Jacquie is still on the show. I dread hearing her sing because when she hits high notes, she screams and yells like a mad, crazy woman, which hurts my ears badly. She sounds fine in certain keys, but in my opinion, she is the worst singer who has ever made it to the live shows of The Voice. She seems like a nice girl though, and she is very beautiful, so maybe she will have some kind of career on television after her stint on the show if her singing career doesn’t pan out.

MATTHEW SCHULER DESERVED TO STAY he has such an amazing and inspiring voice and should have made it all the way to the finals. The Voice won’t be the same without him.

Something happened to Matt’s voice soon after the live shows started. He lost some of his range and his ability to sing with sustained power. They covered for him cleverly, but he just wasn’t the same singer who turned all those chairs. I hope he gets it back, but right now he just didn’t have it. Might as well let the others have a chance.

This show is obviously rigged. People in the West didn’t get to go on twitter and vote because we are now watching the Voice, This show is not Live in the west. Only people on the East Coast can vote. Matthew is better off without The Voice. Let me guess Ms. Chin will barley make it into top three and she won’t win either. Seems like only a few minorities make to top three and then they get voted off. Can someone please give Matthew a contract right now. He has more talent than the lot of judges combined. As for Christina she blew it big time. Why is she always promoting Jackie more than Mathew on the voice? It’s so obvious she is a Narcissist when she says repeatedly, “you remind me so much of myself….blah blah blah Christina….You did not deserve to have Matthew on your team. Good night…I will no longer be looking at The Voice, but I will purchase Matthews’ First Record

well, it’s obvious to me too, that Christina is focusing on promoting Jacquie. during the auditions, i knew Matt made the wrong choice. he should’ve been in either Blake or Adam’s team. well, it’s his own wrong choice.

and why Jacquie is still there? who needs another screamer there beside christina?

Season 2 winner was Jermaine Paul (in response to your comment that few minorities make it to top 3 then get voted off). Also I live on the west coast and I have voted every week on the twitter save by following The Voice on twitter. It tells right when it’s time to send your twitter vote. Yes it’s a spoiler to know who’s in the bottom 2 before watching it here in the west coast but it’s also very exciting to participate in helping to save who you want in those last few minutes! They show (on twitter @NBCTheVoice) who the twitter save is immediately after the votes are tallied. And yes Matthew is fantastic. At this point in the show everyone is and so we will lose amazingly talented artists regardless :(
