The ‘Teen Mom 2’ star and her mom returned to family court on Dec. 2 to assess their arrangement and the judge reportedly suspended Jenelle’s court-ordered child support payments to Babs, who has been caring for her son.
Jenelle Evans and her mother Barbara Evans took to court on Dec. 2 to re-work their child support arrangement, and the court reportedly ruled to suspend Jenelle’s monthly payments to her mom. Jenelle’s 4-year-old son Jace is in Babs’ care, and Jenelle was previously paying $130 a month to her mom to help pay for her son’s expenses and needs.

“Mrs. Barbara Evans was in court with her daughter Jenelle and she agreed to stop having Jenelle pay the child support,” a source close to Jenelle told Radar Online.
Babs earned custody of Jace while Jenelle was struggling with addiction, but Jenelle has been enjoying tons of time with her son. Despite earning a salary from appearing on Teen Mom 2, Jenelle has reportedly struggled financially, according to the site.
“Jenelle has told people she has money and that her mom thinks she is doing really well now so she is going to see how it goes without the child support for a little while,” reported Radar.

While this arrangement could be seen as a positive development for Jenelle, she posted a sad message to her Twitter page on Dec. 2: “Talk s**t about me all u want. I’m already depressed as f**k so thanks for rubbing the salt in the wound. Getting off twitter.”
