Vin Diesel ‘Inconsolable’ After Paul Walker’s Death
The actors were in the midst of filming the seventh installment in the series. They had filmed movies back-to-back since 2001. When his longtime friend and co-star heard the news, a source close to the actor told us: “Vin is inconsolable, understandably so. What’s on his Twitter is all he wants to say right now.
Not long after the news broke, Vin took to his Twitter on Nov. 30, to tell fans the following:

Paul Walker’s Tragic Crash: Eyewitness Reveals Details
Paul and Roger Rodas, who was behind the wheel of the red Porsche Carerra GT, were both killed after they lost control of the vehicle. The car split a tree in half and HollywoodLife.com spoke to an eyewitness who was there on the scene.
“We were missed getting hit by them by like 30 seconds,” the eyewitness tells us. “The car burst into flames immediately and split a tree in half. The flames were way too big and fast-moving.”
His family released the following statement hours after his death:
It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide. He was a passenger in a friend’s car, in which both lost their lives. We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news. Thank you for keeping his family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time. We will do our best to keep you apprised on where to send condolences. – #TeamPW
