After a week of incredible performances, it was Caroline Pennell and Ray Boudreaux who were sent packing during the Nov. 26 episode of ‘The Voice.’ HollywoodLife.com caught up with Caroline backstage after the show, where the emotional singer did her best to hold it together.
On the Nov. 26 episode of The Voice, Cee-Lo Green lost his final team member when Caroline Pennell was sent home. Read on to find out what Caroline told HollywoodLife.com about her shocking elimination!
Caroline Pennell Is Moving Forward From ‘The Voice’
Caroline Pennell shook things up with an amazing rendition of Florence And The Machine‘s “Dog Days Are Over” this week, so her departure from The Voice was a major upset. Caroline choked back tears as she caught up with HollywoodLife.com backstage, but she assured us that she was still confident with her decision to change her performance style this week. Here are Caroline’s thoughts, in her own words:
“I always thought that everything that I did might be able to come back to haunt me, but that goes for everyone. Part of succeeding on the show and succeeding after the show is to go with growth — figuring out where your place in the industry will be after the show. If I don’t figure that out now, then when am I going to figure that out? So I can just be confident with every decision I make and move forward, and I am totally content with the performance I did. I think it will all be OK. I’ll be OK.”
Who Will Win ‘The Voice’?
Matthew Schuler has long been a fan-favorite, but he shocked us all when his Nov. 25 performance of Imagine Dragons‘ “It’s Time” fell flat. Still, he earned the crucial fan save on Twitter, so the ball could still be in his court — that is, unless Jacquie Lee continues to dominate like she did with her killer rendition of Smokey Robinson‘s “Who’s Loving You.”
We’re bummed to see Caroline go, but excited to see what the future holds for the talented singer. What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Did the right people go home?
