Taylor and Douglas reportedly had an amazing time together on their Nov. 15 date — and talked for so long that they stayed until the restaurant closed!
Taylor Swift, 23, and Douglas Booth, 21, shared food during their romantic date in London when she was reportedly house-hunting there. Keep reading for more details — including what they ate and talked about!
Taylor Swift & Douglas Booth
Taylor and Douglas met at the Holly Bush pub around 6 p.m., and didn’t leave for five hours, according to Us Weekly. She was in town looking at apartments, and reportedly thought it’d be a good idea to consult the sexy British actor.
“They were talking animatedly. They got on really well,” their source says. Taylor and Douglas had just planned to have a drink, but because they were having so much fun, a drink turned into dinner! The pub manager took them to a back room, where they shared a shallot tart and soft-shell crab starters. He also ordered duck, and she got a salad.
They talked about theater, friends and Taylor’s career, the outlet reported. “They didn’t leave until the last-orders bell chimed. They had a great time together. They just went out to get to know each other better,” their source said.
Hailee Steinfeld Introduced Taylor Swift & Douglas Booth
Taylor’s gal-pal Hailee Steinfeld, 16, is credited for bringing the young stars together. Hailee starred opposite Douglas in the romantic fall flick Romeo and Juliet, and we’re glad Hailee had the perfect Juliet to Douglas’ Romeo in mind!
Hailee hooked the pair up during the after party of the film’s L.A. premiere in September, where the two were reportedly flirting the whole time and were even spotted in a photo booth.
HollywoodLife.com has reached out to Taylor’s rep for comment. Douglas’ rep had no comment.
