Batkid strikes again! The inspiring cancer-beating youngster was invited to New York City on Nov. 25 to appear on ‘GMA,’ but while he was being interviewed, The Joker captured another VIP guest of the show — Mr. Worldwide, Pitbull himself!

Miles Scott, a.k.a. San Francisco’s own Batkid was called upon to save a beloved celebrity from an evil villain! Fresh off of his hosting gig at the 2013 American Music Awards, Pitbull was trapped by The Joker at the Good Morning America studios, and luckily the tiniest superhero in America was close at hand to save the day!

Miles, 5, was enjoying his time in New York City when he needed to snap back into action as Batkid! Chained into his dressing room, Pitbull couldn’t escape the clutches of the morning show’s own resident evil villain — The Joker!

To foil The Joker, Batkid punched him in the foot! He fell to the ground in an exaggerated display of defeat, and Pitbull was able to take to the Good Morning America stage right on time to perform his hits “Timber,” and “Don’t Stop The Party.”

Batkid Takes New York City

Saving Pitbull was a major highlight of Miles’ city experience, but it wasn’t the only awesome moment! New York City Mayor Bloomberg honored Miles during his trip to NYC! “It’s great to welcome another crime fighter to real Gotham, New York City,” he said. Miles even got an authentic Gotham City Police badge, and his own DC Comics rendering of his cartoon likeness!

“It’s been amazing, we never expected anything like this, on a level like this,” Miles’ dad said of the overwhelming support his son has received from around the world. “He’s finished his chemotherapy, he’s in remission, this is like the after-party.”

Miles hasn’t had an easy road — but the real-life superhero beat leukemia! “Chemotherapy is all he’s ever known, he was diagnosed at 18 months,” Miles’ dad said. Batkid is now getting to celebrate being cancer-free — and his inspiring story is reaching millions of people, thanks to the Make A Wish Foundation.
