The 2013 American Music Awards may be saving the best and biggest names in the music business for last, but that doesn’t mean the pre-show wasn’t packed with talented performances! Fifth Harmony and Jesse McCartney wowed the crowd with their respective slow jams, and they were both so awesome that we can’t even decide who was better! Read on and VOTE on which performance you liked more!
Jesse McCartney Vs Fifth Harmony’s Performance At AMAs — Dueling Sexy Slow Jams
Pop singer-songwriter Jesse, 26, sang an amazing acoustic version of his new hit single “Back Together,” with a little help from two guitar players/back-up singers. Jesse’s voice sounded smoother and sexier than ever during his live performance of the self-described “pop-disco-inspired” track. This is definitely a more mature sound for Jesse — who made his solo debut in 2004 when he was just 17 — and he’s only getting better with age!
Fans at the show nodded their heads along to the song and seemed totally riveted by the green-eyed crooner’s velvety vocals and romantic lyrics. Even host Jonathan Cheban said, “This kid is amazing,” as he slow danced along to the tune with co-host Chelsea Cannell.
Fifth Harmony Stuns At The AMAs Pre-Show
Jesse was definitely a tough act to follow, but Fifth Harmony rose to the occasion like the pros that they are!
The five lovely ladies showcased their beautiful voices in a sexy, soulful performance of their hit single “Better Together,” off of their debut EP of the same name. The girls, accompanied by a single guitar player, let their voices take center stage during the raw, acoustic performance.
Their sensational voices blended together perfectly, proving that they really are “better together!”
So what do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Who had the better pre-show performance at the AMAs, Fifth Harmony or Jesse McCartney? Let us know!
