Sylvia’s son, Chris Browne, broke the news of Sylvia’s passing to TMZ, saying she was surrounded by family and friends at the time of her death.
A message posted on her Facebook page reads:
Sylvia graduated today. She was surrounded by family and friends. What a legacy. She shared so much. We will carry on her knowledge with hypnosis and Journey of the Soul and her many books. What a great party they must be having on the Other Side. Bless everyone.
It seems as though Sylvia’s passing was relatively peaceful, especially since she was in the presence of close friends and family.
Sylvia Browne’s Psychic Predictions
Sylvia notably specialized in missing person cases, but her most recent prediction turned out to be inaccurate. Sylvia falsely predicted that kidnapping victim Amanda Berry died shortly after going missing in 2003, but Amanda was found alive on May 6, 2013 when she was rescued after being held captive in a Cleveland household.
Our thoughts go out to Sylvia’s friends and family during this difficult time.
