The actress took the sheer trend to a whole new level as she left very little to the imagination in her risky red carpet look, stepping out sans underwear beneath her golden gown. Did you love her sexy style statement? VOTE.
Jena Malone joined her Catching Fire co-stars on the red carpet for the LA premiere at Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live on Nov. 18, where the 28-year-old star rocked a seriously sheer dress that gave Jaimie Alexander a run for her money — after all, who could forget her strategically-placed dress from the Thor premiere? Jena rocked a gold ombre gown that also strategically covered her up and forced the star to step out sans underwear, as it would have been visible through the sheer illusion panels.
Jena Malone’s Sheer Dress For ‘Catching Fire’ Premiere:
Jena made a statement in her dramatic gold gown from Nicholas Oakwell’s Spring 2012 couture collection — and it was obvious that she wasn’t wearing anything else underneath! The gold ombre ensemble definitely showed off a sexy take on the illusion trend as the panels allowed the star to show off a lot of skin. She stuck to a golden girl theme while rocking the look on the red carpet as she styled it with a gold Jimmy Choo clutch and a gold manicure. Her blonde bob looked neat and sleek while she sported a shimmering, gold and brown shadow that further enhanced the golden hue of the dress.
In a sea of gorgeous gowns, the actress certainly knew how to stand out — and her illusion dress definitely did the trick! The golden gown allowed the actress to show off her toned figure beneath the sheer panels while the shimmering shade added a glam factor that was perfect for the big premiere night. Illusion dresses really take the sheer trend to a whole new level, but what do you think? Are you still obsessed with the look or are you growing tired of the trend?
